    What is the Anthropic Hackathon?

Anthropic is the AI company behind Claude, one of the world’s leading large language models. Each year, the company hosts a global hackathon that challenges developers and engineers to build real-world applications using Claude.

The competition attracts tens of thousands of participants from leading technology companies, research institutions, and startups around the world.

“Winning Gold places Bedirhan and by extension, Signit among the best AI builders in the world.”

Signit Engineer Wins Gold Among 20,000 Participants Worldwide

One of Signit’s engineers has taken first place at Anthropic’s global hackathon, building with Claude and competing against more than 20,000 participants worldwide.

This wasn’t a side project. It reflects how Signit approaches artificial intelligence not as an experiment, but as a core capability applied to real enterprise challenges in trust, compliance, and AI-powered decision systems.

At Signit, we believe the future of contract management is inseparable from the future of AI. Our engineers are not just users of these technologies; they are among the best builders in the world working with them.

Achievements like this are a byproduct of the culture we’ve built across the team.

Bedirhan Keskin Software Engineer at Signit · Anthropic Hackathon Gold Medalist One of Signit’s engineers just won Gold at Anthropic’s global hackathon, competing against more than 20,000 developers worldwide. Here’s what that means for us in his own words.

    In His Own Words

    THE PROBLEM

What did you build, and why?

“As a medical doctor, I know that becoming a doctor requires real experience, and that’s exactly what’s missing the day you graduate.”

So I built Medkit, a virtual clinic that allows medical students and junior doctors to make every mistake before it truly counts.

Users can take patient history, order labs, review imaging, diagnose conditions, and prescribe treatments. At the end of each session, an AI model evaluates not only medical knowledge, but also communication and soft skills.

“Education tends to be boring, so gamifying it changes the engagement entirely.”

    THE CULTURE

How does Signit connect to what you built?

“At Signit, I’m surrounded by brilliant minds, and inspiration is one of the biggest drivers of imagination.”

We host bi-weekly internal demos where team members showcase what they’ve been building. A few months ago, I built a 3D FPS web game just for fun during one of those demos  and that eventually became the foundation for Medkit’s gamified experience.

“That’s the culture at Signit: we explore the frontier of the industry and adapt it at lightspeed.”

    THE EDGE

What made the difference against 20,000 participants?

“Success comes from combining many small parts: the idea, the design, the engineering, the user experience, and the distribution.”

No single element wins on its own.

The problem had to be real, and this one was deeply personal. I lived it, and I know it matters.

“I’m obsessed with details  and when you add all those small parts together, that’s where the difference lives.”

    THE BIGGER PICTURE

What does this win say about where enterprise AI is heading?

“AI is being adopted everywhere, and execution is becoming less of a bottleneck.”

What changes is where the real value exists: vision, craftsmanship, and a deep understanding of the problem.

“I’m a doctor who deeply understood the problem, and AI gave me the leverage to build it.”

That’s where enterprise AI is heading:

“Vision and domain expertise, multiplied by execution.”

    FOR YOUNG ENGINEERS

What would you tell someone who wants to compete at this level?

“As Steve Jobs said, the dots connect backwards. Keep adding dots and keep doing the right things.”

Three things I’d tell them and honestly, what I tell myself:

01 Keep doing the right things

    Results tend to follow.

    02 Iteration is everything

Don’t fall in love with one idea. You only find the right direction through iteration.

    03 Knowledge fuels imagination

Learn across domains  even the things that don’t seem practical today.
